Sowing March-April in the box. In a fixed location to replant in May. Since mid-May it can be sown directly into the ground in seedbed or in rows at a distance of 30 cm. Leaving plants every 15-20 cm. Marigold is one of the least involving of ornamental plants. They  tolerate drought and heat. There aren’t  also any special requirements for soil - even grow on sterile soil. They prefer sunny positions, but also feel good in partial shade. They bloom continuously since June till the autumn frosts in October, depending on sowing time.
